Senior Spotlight: Veronica
My senior session with Veronica yesterday was full of new experiences. The wind was OFF THE CHARTS but we survived and Veronica still looked absolutely beautiful. I loved this shoot because we visited two spots on campus, the architecture/industrial design studio and the tunnel under Burruss Hall, that I had never worked in before and both turned out pretty great and added a different element to her photos! She wanted to take photos in the studio because that's where so much of her time was spent while at VT and the tunnel was just something new that we both wanted to try. Read about Veronica's journey and future plans below!
"My grad cap has on it my latin motto I adopted in high school “alis volat propriis” which translates to “she flies with her own wings.” Up until college I thought I had to do everything on my own. That in order to succeed through my own willpower and strength, I couldn’t have and support. Now leaving college, I realize that I can still fly through my own hard work, but I’m not alone. I’ve got so many new families I never imagined I would leave here with. I have my theta family, my industrial design family, and my event planning office family all flying with me. And their support is what’ll help this Hokie fly to her next adventure in Atlanta where I will be working as a design strategist."
