Senior Spotlight: Dallece

I've known Dallece for awhile now but never gotten the chance to truly get to know her and man, do I regret that. She is one of the most down-to-earth people I've ever met and is absolutely brilliant (just read about her future and you'll see what I mean). I'm beyond amazed by her and am so sad that she is leaving Virginia Tech but she has incredible things ahead of her. Read what she has to say about her time in Blacksburg and her future plans:

"My experience at Virginia Tech has gone by in a hectic blur of adventures, incredible friendships, and “finding a table in NCB during finals” level stress. I began college with the goal of one day becoming a Neurosurgeon like McDreamy and a passion for Buffalo Wild Wings. (Organic Chemistry had other plans in mind for me rip). I end my college career on the new path of becoming a Neuroscientist after discovering my passion for research, and a steadfast commitment to Wing Thursdays at Bdub's. Reflecting on my 3 years at VT, I cannot think of anything I would want to change. Every experience, good or bad, has helped to shape me into the person I have become and allowed me to meet some pretty amazing people along the way. After graduation I will be making the trek to the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota to become an eskimo/researcher, and will start my PhD in Neuroscience next year. I cannot express how thankful I am for the faculty, family/friends, and of course God, who have helped me throughout my time here, and am grateful for all their support.

I selected the quote for my graduation cap as I have survived off of Grey’s Anatomy throughout college, and Christina Yang was another kick ass woman who went to the Mayo Clinic.

“We have to dance it out, thats how we finish -C. Yang”
