It all started when...
In 4th grade, I was given my first digital camera. Immediately, I ran upstairs and started taking pictures of everything in my room. After I was done posing my stuffed animals for their close ups, I went outside and started taking pictures there. Basically, photography just clicked. I've always been told that you should grow up and pursue a job that you are passionate about. I completely agree. It's a pretty daunting task though since there are so many things in this world and it can be hard to find a solid niche. Lucky for me though, I found this niche when I was in 4th grade. Now, I'm a student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute pursuing a degree in Marketing Management and in my free time, it's basically all photography all the time. I am currently the Director of Photography for the student-run advertising agency at Virginia Tech and am also an accredited photographer for the Pamplin School of Business. My favorite days though include photographing moments with incredible clients and working to tell their story through beautiful images.
